NexusCode Learning

NexusCode Learning
An upcoming e-learning platform built to help aspiring developers master coding and land real jobs. Inspired by FreeCodeCamp and 42, it combines interactive lessons, project-based challenges, and a built-in job portal — with full support for English and Japanese.

UX/UI Design & Architecture

Community-Driven Learning
Job Portal Integration (Coming Soon)
The Challenge
Building an e-learning platform isn’t just about videos and quizzes. We wanted to design a space where self-paced learners could grow with real coding challenges, hands-on projects, and eventually connect with real-world jobs — all within a clean, motivating, and distraction-free experience. Additionally, the platform needed to support Japanese language and align with cultural expectations around learning and professionalism.
Our Approach
Curriculum First, Platform Second
We started by researching what beginners and junior developers in Japan and Southeast Asia actually struggle with: Where do I start? How do I stay motivated? How do I get hired? From that, we’re building structured learning tracks — HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, databases, Git, deployment, and more — each ending with a real-world project to showcase in a portfolio.
Learning Dashboard + Code Playground
Learners will have access to a personal dashboard to track progress, revisit lessons, and take on challenges. We’re also designing an in-browser coding environment so they can practice and submit code without needing local setup — just like FreeCodeCamp.
Job Portal Integration (Coming Soon)
One of our core goals is to bridge the gap between learning and earning. Our future roadmap includes a student job portal, where learners can build profiles, showcase their progress, and apply directly to entry-level roles and internships — particularly within the NexusCode hiring network.
The Result
A high-quality learning platform to democratize access to coding education
Hands-on projects to build real skills, not just theory
A community-first approach to encourage learning, feedback, and growth
A job-ready system that connects learners with real opportunities
Behind the Scenes
We’ve been deeply inspired by platforms like FreeCodeCamp and 42 — not just for their tech, but for their mission. With NexusCode Learning, we want to bring that similar sense of community, purpose, and open access to our own region — with an extra layer of career readiness that leads learners into the next chapter of their professional lives.
Next Steps
• Launch MVP with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript tracks • Add student dashboard and lesson progress tracking • Integrate basic code submission + validation features • Launch beta version in English & Japanese • Build out the job portal & employer connections
